Weekly classes are a great place to get consistent support and feedback, hear the work of other talented writers, and learn more about craft. These groups can support you through the “rough patches” when you feel blocked, discouraged, or too busy and might want to give up on a project. Weekly workshops can help you progress steadily with your writing. I currently offer weekly groups in Santa Cruz, Moss Landing and Carmel.

Weekly Writers' Groups

These are supportive communities of writers working in all genres. Ongoing weekly groups are limited to 10 writers and range from people just beginning their writing practice to professional writers completing larger projects. Groups are facilitated in the workshop model in which participants share examples of their writing and receive feedback from Roxan and other group participants. Our focus is to both encourage more writing and develop writing skills.
